Our field team members are certified to National Association for Search and Rescue (NASAR) Search and Rescue Technician SARTECH III or higher. Our Bloodhounds are trained to NASAR Canine SARTECH Trailing I standards.
We operate Bloodhound scent discriminating K9 trailing teams. This means we use a scent article and a point last seen (PLS) to find a specific person. We are trained to and can track in all types of weather, day or night. Our teams have effectively worked trails up to 8 days old and 15+ miles long. We also have HRD Cadaver K9s and divers for Search and Recovery.
All members are certified in First Aid / BLS, FEMA NIMS 100, 200, 700 and SARTECH 3. Our team leaders are SARTECH 2 and Wilderness First Responder certified. We search for endangered missing persons across the State of Alabama and are on call 24/7/365.
Public safety agencies can request our assistance by calling 1-205-206-9463 at any time, 24/7/365.
